Virtual Journal Club

Join us Thursday, Nov 13 @ 10 AM EST for an exciting session led by Ahmed E. (University of Tübingen / ETH Zürich)! Researchers, scientists, and curious folks are all welcome to join.

Paper: “NINFA: Non-commercial Interface for Neuro-Feedback Acquisitions”, Neurophotonics (2025)(https://lnkd.in/gBCjFcy3)

Ahmed studied Software Engineering in Berlin and is now completing his master’s in Biomedical Technologies at the University of Tübingen. His research — currently based at the Social Brain Sciences Lab at ETH Zürich — explores how computational tools and algorithms can advance our understanding of the brain.

In this session, Ahmed will present NINFA, an open-source MATLAB-based platform for real-time fNIRS and EEG neurofeedback that was developed to make cutting-edge neurofeedback research more accessible, flexible, and community-driven.

Date/Time: Thursday, Nov 13 @ 10 AM EST
